“The Shawshank Redemption” may be an everlasting tale of sorrow, deceit and ultimate development amid the foremost terrible circumstances.
The acting is superior, a number of Tim Robbins’ and Morgan Freeman’s best work as they permit me an intimate look inside the sometimes contradictory nature of a convict’s existence, where i’m torn emotionally between danger and safety, light and shadow, sanity and sorrow, truth and lies, injustice and justice. In fact, i’m lost completely the actors’ tragic and unforgettable representations of youthful thugs, harsh guards, swindlers, thieves, rapists and murderers, all standing in their separate places silently listening together to an operatic aria over a loudspeaker on the prison yard.
